OUT OF THE PARK

RIP-IT approached Robrady with the task of packaging their 3D swing tracking technology into a form that could be applied to an existing BBCOR bat. Various formats were considered, but ultimately we settled on creating a custom plastic knob that would thread onto any existing bat and be permanently adhered during the manufacturing process. This not only allowed the dimensions of the final bat designs to remain unchanged, but also allowed the product to be used IN GAME, opening up an entirely new field of post-game swing tracking metrics. The overall form and weight of the device had to match an existing knob, but we were able to use subtle form breaks and graphics to visually communicate the cutting edge technology within.
